Flashback 2019

Over 17,000 the visitors to Flashback for Gauguin, Canova, Sargent and many more

Flashback is closing with a growing number of visitors, a preview that saw a strong participation of collectors, museum directors and professionals and significant sales reported by the attending galleries.
We are extremely happy – directors Stefania Poddighe and Ginevra Pucci declare – of this seventh edition: the galleries did a fantastic job on the works and on their storytelling, we have perceived an increasingly attentive passionate public, but – mainly – the eighth chapter of Flashback is already chomping at the bit to start and continue telling about this character, an undiscussed, mythological and timeless protagonist: Art.
More than 17,000 visitors  discovered the 50 exhibitors, each of them considered as “specialists” in their sectors, in the 4,000 square meters inside Turin’s  Pala Alpitour, designed by Arata Isozaki, and characterized by very high ceilings and great lights: an ideal place to host the galleries and the large contemporary art installations such as the exhibition dedicated to Eva Marisaldi and  Hidetoshi Nagasawa – “Changing abode” – curated by Michela Casavola, or the large Kentridge’s tapestry curated by Untitled.
