The exhibitionA better life. Fragments of stories from the Institute for Childhood of the Province of Turinis configured as a work (life as a work) and is determined by the reworking of the original documents of the Institute: the images tell the orphanage in the province of Turin in a non-archival way through the stories of nannies, employees of the structure and children, now adults, who have returned to frequent the place thanks to the activities of Flashback Habitat.
L'IPI, inaugurated in 1958 by President Gronchi, every year hosted about three hundred boys and girls awaiting adoption, often born in Corso Lanza 75, and then given up for adoption, generally before the age of three._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_

As part of the SOLOSHOWGALLERY* cycle of exhibitions, the exhibition traces the artistic career of Mario Sironi, a central figure of the Italian twentieth century, through a suggestive overview of graphic works, drawings in pencil, Indian ink, tempera, which cover the entire time span of his prolific and eclectic production, from the Roman years of his youth to the Milanese ones of maturity.
(*SOLOSHOWGALLERY represents the possibility for a gallery to present a specific project concerning its research and create a personal exhibition at Flashback Habitat)
