JUST FRIENDS GROUP
Umberto Garavoglia, accordion
Franco Ivaldi, guitar
Alberto Duz Scarduelli, bass
Daniele Neato, drums
Special guest: Stefano Ivaldi, violin
The Just Friends Group was formed from the meeting of five musicians with different artistic backgrounds and training, united by the desire to make swing their distinctive stylistic signature. The project is particularly characterized by the style of the accordionist and the violinist, the latter appearing as a special guest on selected occasions, as he is also involved in other swing ensembles.
The repertoire spans great American jazz standards, French traditional swing, gypsy jazz, and Italian songs reinterpreted in a jazz style. The result is an elegant and engaging performance, enriched by brief introductions and contextual explanations of the pieces performed.

THE MAYOR IS STONED
Luca Francis Marino, guitar
Federico Surrusca, sax
Giacomo Vincent Gallo, trumpet
Guglielmo Mazzon, bass
Jaco Tombolani, drums and voice
The Mayor Is Stoned is a project that originated in Venice in the summer of 2024.
Initially, the band formed as an instrumental power trio with psych blues/rock tendencies, founded by guitarist Luca Francis Marino and drummer Jaco Tombolani, with Gino Rizzello on bass.
Within a year, following unforeseen changes, lineup shifts, and new collaborations, the project evolved toward a more jazz-rock and progressive direction, developing a more authentic sound that echoes the frequencies of the 1970s and the late 1960s.

BONADE UNEVEN QUINTET
Claudio Bonadè, compositor,
sax and sopran voice
Luca Begonia, trombone
Emanuele Francesconi, piano
Gualtiero Marangoni, electric bass and double bass
Fabrizio Fiore, drums
Led by saxophonist and composer Claudio Bonadè, the repertoire features original pieces characterized by a strong exploration of timbre and a continuous dialogue between the instrumental sections.
The ensemble is a “non-regular” and deliberately unconventional quintet that builds an intense and layered sound, in which saxophone and trombone intertwine with piano, bass, and drums in a dynamic balance.
A personal and cross-genre musical journey, rooted in the author’s experience spanning jazz, progressive rock, and European art music.

AFTERDARK EXPERIENCE
Luca Tartaglia, electric bass
Claudio Giunta, trombone
Simone Franchino, drums
AfterDark Experience is a band from Turin composed of trombone, bass, and drums. The members have each been active for many years as performers both live and in studio, in Italy and across Europe.
This ensemble has worked on several well-known songs by Nirvana, adapting and rearranging them into instrumental versions with clear influences from funk, soul, blues, and jazz, while still preserving the raw sound typical of grunge.
The resulting repertoire is therefore engaging and highly refined.

MICHELE DE LILLA PROJECT
Michele De Lilla, piano
Sara Fenza, voice
Matteo Fagioli, sax contralt
Fabio Angeli, electric bass
Giuseppe Salime, drums
Michele De Lilla Project is the result of a long-standing collaboration that began in 2019 in the classrooms of Siena Jazz University, together with Matteo Fagioli (saxophone), Giuseppe Salime (drums), and Fabio Angeli (bass). A deep artistic and human connection naturally developed among them, growing steadily over time to the present day.
The encounter with vocalist Sara Fenza happened later, by chance, after a concert at Gregory’s Jazz Club. Her energy and stage presence immediately stood out, and her instinctive, natural voice became a welcome discovery.
Musically, the project leader has been responsible for arrangements, lyrics, and compositions, but the final result is the product of a collective contribution, where each member has left their own artistic imprint.
